Our Services
What We Do
-
At least once a year we create spaces for our metro communities to unite and discuss current events and how to stay safe during these unstable times. At these Town Halls we invite local leaders, resources, queer vendors, various minority groups, allies and activists to keep our community informed and prepared. Our priorities are to educate, advocate, and collaborate and these Town Halls are key in achieving that mission.
-
The KC Metro area covers a large geographical region with many diverse groups. To stay strong and united we offer help and resources to these smaller sub-communities. We’ll help set up events and find the right people for the area.
These smaller communities cover both townships and diverse groups, so when we say we’ll help that could be in the form of a Town Hall in Lawrence or setting up a health care panel for our trans community.

Our email newsletters drop throughout the year and cover:
Upcoming MJT Events
Organization Highlights
Upcoming Congressional Hearings and Protests
Advocate Education
Community Resources Specific to Political Changes (for example: Immigrant Resources when the ICE raids began)
